Attorney Profiles

Gregory L. Housewirth is Board-Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and is a member of the Texas Academy of Family Law Specialists.  He has practiced family law in North Texas for seventeen years and has extensive experience in all types of family law matters.  Additionally, Mr. Housewirth has been a certified mediator, with specialized training in family case mediation, since 1991.

Having tried twenty jury trials and many more trials before the Court, Mr. Housewirth provides his clients with aggressive courtroom advocacy and an outstanding knowledge of the trial process.  While a trial may be a necessity in some instances, Mr. Housewirth is additionally able to rely upon his mediation and negotiation skills to obtain favorable results for his clients without resort to trial. 

A transplanted Texan, Mr. Housewirth graduated from Conroe High School and then attended Texas Christian University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. He is a graduate of the University of Texas School of Law.  A member of the Family Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association, Mr. Housewirth has lectured on family law matters.

He and his wife, Holly Schreier, have been married for ten years and are the parents of one child, a dog and two cats.
