Attorney Profiles

Pat Hammer, CP, is a paralegal for Schreier Housewirth.   Pat brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our clients.  Pat provides information, reassurance and support to all of our divorce and custody clients as their cases progress from inception to conclusion.   Pat also helps clients prepare important case documents such as inventories of marital assets and answers to family law discovery.  As our Fort Worth divorce and custody practice grows, Pat Hammer is a key member of our team and she helps us keep our commitment to provide our clients the comprehensive representation they demand.

Pat has been a paralegal since 1992, and is Board-Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.  Pat is an active member of the Ft. Worth Paralegal Division, having served as their president in 1998 and 2007. 

Pat is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Paralegal Division, where she served as director for four years.  She had the honor of receiving the first Pro Bono award given by the State Bar in 1997.

Pat received her Commercial Mediation Certificate in 1992 and her Family Law Mediation Certificate in 2003. 

In 2008, Pat was honored to be included in the State Bar's production of Profiling the Paralegal Profession which can be viewed on the State Bar Paralegal Division's website.
